Terry J. Wilk, FCHIME, MBA, is a five-time healthcare CIO whose expertise spans the full range of IT executive oversight—from key executive recruitment, strategic planning, IT governance, IT organizational design, vendor selection and contract negotiations—to complex IT system implementation, crisis management and IT operational turnarounds.

 

Terry has over 40 years’ experience working in large multi-hospital, community, rural and critical access health systems, IT consulting, and IT vendor organizations. Terry partners with C-Suite executive, physician, and departmental leaders and their staffs to converge acquisition of key executive resources, strategic planning with tactical execution so organizations can effectively use IT to face unprecedented pressures and massive change amid ambiguity. He guides IT organizations to meet a skyrocketing demand for accountable executive leadership, effective IT services while seeking flawless execution of IT strategic plans.

 

Terry is a deep subject matter resource who understands the unique characteristics of each client’s IT vision while assisting them in recruiting for and creating accountable service-oriented IT organizations that can attract and retain highly qualified executives that have a passion to help their organizations succeed. Terry believes that CIOs and their staffs need to develop themselves to become productive leaders and team members that remain focused on achieving organizational goals while truly being supportive and committed to one another and their customers.

 

Terry received his B.B.A. from Cleveland State University and his M.B.A. from Case Western Reserve University, both in Cleveland, Ohio. Terry is also a Fellow in the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME).
